Generalist Writer

About This Role
LiPol Battery North America is looking for a versatile Generalist Writer to produce compelling content across multiple formats — from technical blog posts and product descriptions to press releases and email campaigns. You'll be a key voice for our brand, translating complex battery technology into clear, engaging language for engineers, buyers, and business decision-makers.
Responsibilities
- Write technically accurate, engaging blog articles and whitepapers on lithium battery topics, industry trends, and applications
- Develop product descriptions, spec sheets, and application guides for our battery catalog
- Create marketing copy for email campaigns, social media, and digital ads
- Draft press releases, company announcements, and LinkedIn content
- Collaborate with engineers and product managers to ensure technical accuracy
- Edit and proofread content produced by other team members
- Manage and maintain the content calendar in coordination with marketing leadership
- Conduct research on emerging battery technologies and industry developments
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional writing experience (B2B, tech, or industrial preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to write in a clear, professional, and engaging voice
- Comfort with technical subject matter — ability to research and write about engineering topics
- Excellent grammar, editing, and proofreading skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive)
Nice to Have
- Experience writing for electronics, energy storage, or hardware industries
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and content strategy
- Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress, Webflow, etc.)
- Understanding of lithium battery technology or willingness to learn quickly
